Travel to Historic Charleston With Us

As my 30th week of pregnancy rolled around, we decided to head to Charleston, South Carolina. Ryan had a leadership training and my nomadic heart needed to wander a bit, so it was the perfect excuse. Luckily, Charleston is only a few hours from us.

So we headed out with my parents for a few days in the city. Unfortunately, Ryan was in meetings most days. But it was so much fun spending time with my mama! Plus it made carrying a 13 month old + a 30 week pregnant belly around in 100 degree heat SO much easier.

We ate at places like the Butcher + the Bee, grabbed coffees from the Daily, and munched on loads of sweets from some yummy cupcake places. Three days here was the perfect getaway and we were so blessed by a cute little Airbnb just down the street from all the fun stuff. If you’re staying in the city, I’d always recommend staying within walking distance from fun things. It saves so much time!

We will definitely be returning (maybe even sans kids for a romantic getaway. ;)
